We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn because of proximity to the Albany airport, with an early departure the following day. The rooms were very pleasant, staff very courteous and helpful. Our boys enjoyed the pool while we enjoyed the spa. It's also close to a bike path that we walked on, an extra surprise bonus. The beds were very comfortable. In fact, it appeared everything had just been refurbished. When we returned, the front desk had moved back in the front of the hotel. The rates we paid were very affordable. In summary, it was a great launching pad for our family vacation.

The Internet was free, and there were 2 queen size beds in my room, it was a nice stay in the Hilton Garden Inn. It was a good deal! If I will go to Albany again, I will definitely stay at there!

We stayed here and had several problems. When we arrived we were informed that the pool was closed and when we asked when it was going to be opened the desk clerk said the next day. This cycle went on the entire trip......until Sunday night when they finally opened the pool. On the 2nd day the guy at the front desk basically told us to go stay at another hotel if it was a problem...... The internet did not work the 2nd day and they claimed it was just us, we talked to three other guests and all of them had internet problems as well. I actually overheard the front desk clerks discussing the internet problems the hotel was having, this was after I spent 1 hour on the phone with support. Why could they have not just been honest and saved me that hour of wasted time...........? BTW, support basically blamed my laptop. My husband travels all the time and he swears by Hilton, he could not believe all the issues we had. I guess it makes a difference when you are a Diamond customer versus a regular customer of Hilton. We ended up moving to the Hampton Inn and Suites in Saratoga Springs and I highly recommend that hotel
